Ignorant and disrespectful workers . Have no respect for the area or people who live in the area they are working .
Truck was blocked a portion of thier posted work zone . The workers saw someone in the truck earlier that morning and didn’t say anything and also a neighbor told them which house the truck belonged too. They didn’t care and still decided to have the truck towed . I would take my business anywhere but with them

Being a real estate agent in Southwestern PA means dealing with a lot of failed sewer lines! If you want QUICK, TOP NOTCH SERVICE definitely give Dave the dispatcher a call! He was so on top of getting my personal appointment scheduled as well as always taking care of every one of my clients! Buying or selling home? From the first call to the last, it has been the best experience I've ever had with a home service provider. I was so impressed with the new HVAC installation that we decided to have them replace our 12-year-old hot water tank with a tankless system at the same time. Now, they are coming over next week to clean our air ducts. They are truly a one-stop shop.

In the end, the problem was an uneven floor, but I was very impressed with how they ruled out all other conceivable issues despite the fact that it involved several return visits (with no extra service fees). GREAT communication and clean-up. Techs were awesome - T, Jay, Chuck thanks so much! Front desk also great!

Nick Smiley was the best , incredibly knowledgeable, and McVay is lucky to have Nick on their team. It’s because of Nick that I am pursuing doing business with McVay.
He is a legitimate professional who has more skills and professionalism than I’ve seen across the 40+ contracting companies I’ve used in the last 20 years.

Please do yourself a favor and call McVay and ask they send Nick. It appears McVay is doing things right.

My mom had an emergency flooding situation which was caused by a bathroom plumbing leak. McVay Plumbing came to assess leak the same day I called, made the damage assessment for the insurance company and made the repair on the spot outside of normal business hours at a very reasonable costs. I’d definitely hire this company again.

We recently purchased a 100+ year old house that was in dire need of air conditioning. After getting quotes from several different companies for mini split AC, McVay definitely came in with the best combination of price, equipment quality, and warranty offering.

Installation took about four days for five indoor units across two floors and our house has been nice and cool ever since! Everyone we spoke to was helpful and courteous, but our main installation tech, Chris, was fantastic throughout the process! He was punctual, kind, and happy to answer all our questions. You'd never know we had work done with how well he cleaned each room. He even helped us out with some laundry installation issues we were having because "you're spending $20k+ with us. I'm here to help."

Bruce, who gave us the original quote, was patient and responsive as we weighed our options and happily answered all our questions. Trisha from accounting was accommodating as well when we asked to split our payment into two chunks on one credit card.

We highly recommend McVay!

The technician Chuck did an excellent job and was quite knowledgeable. One of the problems was an old water line was too close to the wooden joist in the unheated garage and couldn't be wrapped with insulation. After discussing various solutions, he and I decided to replace the pipe with flexible plastic pipe and the appropriate fittings. It solved the problem. Included in the repair was a new shutoff valve to the sink connecting to the flexible pipe.Also, recommended by Chuck, an additional shutoff valve near the main house water line to allow bypassing a 50 year old valve. I thought it was a good idea. I was pleased the work was completed under 3 hours.
One thing I would have appreciated was a list of the itemized costs of each activity. The invoice only showed the total cost.

Your AI is not working well. The reasons for the service call are not listed below. We got furnace inspection and electric inspection. Your tech, Zack Snyder, was pleasant, interesting and knowledgeable. I used to talk to a human when you were Arendosh. Your new AI system is disorienting. I want the tech to take care of whatever is needed. I don't want to have to answer questions or service the furnace myself.

We called McVay for a leak in our bathroom. We explained that another plumber had told us that the pipe was embedded in the floor and they would need to go through the floor. They charged us $300 to tell us they don't do the type of work we called them for. I would not recommend them

Outstanding work by everyone involved. Walt and Ryan did the installation work (excellent), and John did the rep work and set everything up for the job. I couldn't be more pleased. New water heater and new HVAC system installed in 2 days. No pressure sales pitch, no haggling. Everything came in at a price we were comfortable with after doing extensive research into what it should have cost us. A very pleasant surprise.
